How much does it cost to install a regulator valve to lower psi of the water?
We're gonna buy the regulator valve at home depot. How much should it cost to have it installed. The one we have right now does not work. Also how much should it cost to fix the leaky shower faucet???

Why you would want to lower your p.s.i. level is beyond me. most people strive to get a better p.s.i. Unless you have between 80-100 psi I would not tamper with it. The price to fix your leaky shower depends on what is wrong. If it is your valve leaking and it needs a new cartridge which is the most common problem it should not take more than 30 mins and about $60-80. If you have a more foreign name brand or more expensive cartridge...i:e something other than Moen like kohler or Grohe it takes longer to get them and may result in 2 trips. 1 trip for diagnosing the problem and another back with the right part. You can change it yourself inexpensively by turning off your water and extracting and replacing the old cartridge which is quite simple.
